Scope and Description of Project (What)        
Text Box:  This package addresses the known costs for the new joint Dispatch Center, tentatively planned to be located in leased space in what is currently the City of Racine Dispatch Center.  This package is not complete.  It has the known technical costs and  physical plant costs.

Text Box: The County will need either to implement the equipment in the joint dispatch center, or upgrade the current LEC based dispatch center, due to the age of the existing systems.
               
               
               
               
Impact of not accepting project          
Text Box: The current LEC- based dispatch center will not last much longer in its present condition.  Replacement parts are no longer made for the console equipment.
