Racine County acts as a clearinghouse to provide animal control services to
local municipalities.
Racine County collects domestic pet license money from each participating
municipality and passes the funds through to Countryside Humane Society on a
monthly basis.
Provide pick-up services for dogs and cats.
Provide confinement of "non-bite case" domestic animals.
Provide pick-up of certain injured wildlife.
Provide humane trapping of nuisance dogs and feral cats.
Provide humane investigation services.
Provide additional special services at an additional charge to handle bite
cases, door-to-door services, and emergency service calls.
